Battalion Operations Center South Korea

501st MI Battalion Headquarters/Korea Fusion Center This 80,000 SF building will accommodate from 237 to 261 people. The building will serve to provide facilities for both Cat II and Cat III operations. The 1st floor is “hardened” by using thicker than usual concrete walls and 2nd floor slab. The facility will also include a fully functional Information Dominance Center (IDC). The project scope provides for redundant MEP systems at the lower level. A full information system is provided including switch and instruments as well as LAN Patch Panels. Also included is a 50 Ft +/- tunnel connection to the building with the 501st Brigade HQ Building.
