Quantity Surveyor

Manu Jose is a Quantity Surveyor with more than 14 years of experience in various fields of Construction including Pre-Contract and post-Contract Surveying. He is currently a Senior Quantity Surveyor at TPM Williams, United Arab Emirates. 

Manu has had extensive experience in a multitude of different aspects of Quantity Surveying including but not limited to:

  • Reviewing of tender documents
  • Preparation of Tender review shee
  • Attending pre-tender site visits and preparing the site visit report
  • Obtaining sub-contractor, supplier quotations in co-ordination with the purchase department
  • Rate analysis and unit rate preparation
  • Preparation and coordination for Bid Technical and Commercial submissions.
  • Reviewing and assessing all anticipated variations
  • Preparation and submission of the Monthly financial report to the Client
  • Preparation of close out documents as required.
  • Cost checking and cost control up to the ultimate completion of the project.

In his 14 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor and Site Engineer has allowed Manu to play key roles in numerous major projects such as Shopping Malls, Villas, Large-Scale Residential Developments, Hotels and Terminals. This has given him vast firsthand experience into the local market of the UAE and has given him the necessary skills to be a Senior Quantity Surveyor leading a team for a variety of project types in the UAE. Manu has a positive attitude to accept challenging jobs and handle assignments independently. He has a proven record of successfully completed assignments and possesses the required vision, ability, drive and enthusiasm essential for successfully administering projects.

Manu has a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, specializing in Technology in Civil Engineering. He has also extremely well-versed in AutoCad, PlanSwift Software and BIM 5D Digitalization and is constantly adding more tools to his repertoire.
